Meet Emily
Emily is a veteran designer who approaches project management with creativity, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people behind the work. Over nearly 20 years, she has blended design thinking, technical mastery, and human-centered collaboration to support renowned global brands and mission-driven teams. She thrives on fostering dynamic partnerships—elevating ideas, sparking inspiration, and guiding complex projects toward meaningful action.
Her approach is also deeply shaped by her early years in the service industry. At 15, she was bussing tables in a Wisconsin supper club, learning firsthand what it meant to anticipate needs, read a room, and make people feel cared for. She worked in award-winning hospitality spaces throughout high school and college, putting herself through art and design school and honing a service mindset that never leaves you.
That foundation of hospitality—grace under pressure, attention to detail, warm professionalism—now informs how she leads teams, manages process, and supports ambitious creative work. Since starting High Water Studio in 2015, Emily brings the same ethos to every project: thoughtful, steady, behind-the-scenes support that allows others to shine and ideas to rise, come hell or high water.
